Have a look at the world around you, there is so much hopelessness among the people, sicknesses, poverty, drought, famine, violence and wars. All these are a physical manifestation of sin which was as a result of the disobedience of Adam and Eve our forefathers. Even amidst all this darkness, Jesus has come to shine His light to us just as the gospel of John in its first chapter reveals to us. How can the believers of Christian respond to these needs in light of world missions? Jesus Christ throughout His ministry demonstrated how we can make disciples and show love to others through holistic ministry. As He sent His disciples, He instructed them to go preach the gospel and heal the sick. God's desire is to set people free physically, emotionally, spiritually and socially.
