BACKGROUND INFORMATION

After its initiation in 1987, NORET KENYA has been known for its effective mobilization of students and professionals towards a concerted effort of reaching the North Rift with the Gospel of our Lord and savior as a response to the clear call of the scriptures as elaborated in Matt 28:18-20.

Partnerships with the local church and other kingdom structures has given us a history of consistent fruit and multi-generational testimony out of an obedient response to the voice of the Master. Many churches have been strengthened, many planted and others revived as a result of our regional focus for the years that are past.

We have enjoyed the unity within the Body of Christ and to that the Kingdom has been established to a larger extent in our areas of focus.

Praise be to God!! As we look into the coming years through the eyes of this strategic plan and outlook, our focus is drawn to the current state of the Church and society that will ultimately call for a response from us in every aspect. With the ongoing instabilities in various parts of the region, we believe that we have a significant role to play as we join together with other members of the body of Christ in asking the Lord that His Kingdom come and His rule and reign be made manifest in our Land.

We therefore endeavor to listen to the Lord of the harvest for guidance and way forward as far as our contribution in uniqueness is concerned. To this we therefore stand dependent and surrender to the will of God for our region of focus in every aspect.
